On the 22nd of November, 2023, Mr Xuerong Jiao and Ms Christy Xie, the China Dean and the South China Regional Manager of the International Centre of Sustainable Academic Research (ISAR), along with Stelios Yalarakis, the Director of the International Department at Cheshire College South & West, visited Shenzhen No.2 Vocational & Technical School.

We visit included in-depth discussions on international vocational education cooperation, culminating in the signing of a MoU. Leaders from Shenzhen No.2 Vocational & Technical School who attended the meeting included Vice Principal Shouheng Wang, School Office Director Zhong Luo, Head of the Information Technology Department and Director of Animation, Game, and Art Design Programs Baichang Liu, and Director of the Business English Program Kexin Hu.

On the same day, the three-member delegation from the ISAR also visited Zhaoqing Agricultural School (ZAS).

They were warmly received by Jiongchuan Su, former Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Zhaoqing Committee and the current President of ZAS; Xipei Cao, Party Secretary of ZAS; Qingqing Zhang, Party Committee Member and Vice President of ZAS; Wenjia Dong, Party Committee Member, Vice President, and Chairman of the Labor Union at ZAS; Jiaxiang Lu, Party Committee Member and Office Director at ZAS; Li Wen, Head of the Academic Affairs Department at ZAS; and Jiezhen Li, a lecturer at ZAS. During the meeting, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on international cooperation in vocational education, and a friendly cooperation agreement was signed to formalise the collaboration.
